GENERAL INFORMATION. Station WEEI was a popular showcase of Boston's 1950's, and may of its announcers were household names.  In one contract, Baston designed seven of the most popular and produced 1,300 of each for sale and promotion by the station.  Another 200 of each were mounted on a black base and used as special promotions by the station.  Jesse Buffum did the early morning farm show in a thick Maine drawl.
