GENERAL INFORMATION. The Colonial Fund in Boston asked Baston to create a pen stand they could use for promotional purposes. Using the 1953 Deidrich Knickerbocker figure (SML-145) as his basis, he designed the company's elaborate front door as a plaque background. The "town crier" invites the client to enter. (The photo at the top of the page is missing the pen stand).
