GENERAL INFORMATION. Following the Harvard Trust Company's Colonial Man (SML-297) the previous year, Baston designed another jovial Colonial character with a bell in one hand and a cane in the other. Inscribed "Harvard Trust Co.," only 400 pieces were produced. In 1967, Baston changed the inscription of Colonial Bell Ringer and reintroduced him (With Colonial Watchman, SML-297A) in the retail line.
