GENERAL INFORMATION. This is the third in the series "Men who Made America." It depicts a lumberjack dressed in a typical bright red shirt with a navy blue French style cap. Many French Canadians came to northern New England in the mid- to late-1800s to work as lumberjacks in the lumber camps.
