GENERAL INFORMATION. At the time this figurine was issued, soccer was a fast-growing team sport in the United States. This young player is standing at the edge of the field with his soccer ball under his arm, waiting for the rest of his teammates to show up.
Proceeds from the sale of this figurine were contributed to the Jimmy Fund, a Boston-based charity that solicits donations for the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Boston used to treat children.
