GENERAL INFORMATION. the New York World's Fair was held in Flushing Meadows, New York in1964. IBM commissioned Baston to sculpt and paint 17 sets of two families for use in IBM regional offices displaying models of the World's Fair IBM exhibit. In this starkly realistic grouping of two families, Baston exhibits his uncanny ability for detailed miniaturization. The men are about six inches high.
