GENERAL INFORMATION. Royal Worcester, the British porcelain and china producer, planned a series of four limited edition Currier & Ives plates beginning in 1974.  Working from an 1852 Nathaniel Currier print, Baston sculpted the bas relief "Road" and Lance cast it into Worcester Pewter.
