GENERAL INFORMATION. Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) is tied forever with the American Revolution, the Declaration of Independence, the Federal Constitutional Convention, the Franklin Stove, bifocal glasses, Poor Richard's Almanack, the identification of electricity in lightning and just about everything else typifying the Philadelphia of the late 1700's.
In his Sebastian pair, Baston portrays Deborah with a piece of knitting for one of their many children. Discontinued forever in 1958, this Franklin design has no connection with later Sebastian Frankins. From Dr. Glenn Johnson's book, The Sebastian Miniature Collection.
