GENERAL INFORMATION. Princess Elizabeth and Prince Phillip were married November 20th, 1947, at Westminster Abbey. As wit the marriage of her son, Prince Charles, in 1981, a large assortment of commemorative objects were developed.
Baston designed the pair following the announcement of their engagement in early 1947 and proceeded with sales as soon as the wedding date was announce. He sold approximately 2,000 sets through the Boston area and then demand endedFrom Dr. Glenn Johnson's book, The Sebastian Miniature Collection.
