GENERAL INFORMATION. The year 1948 was an election year. As everyone knew, Dewey would trounce Truman, but just to hedge his bet, Baston also designed a Democratic Victory. As it turned out, he had not needed the GOP design since Truman walked away with the election. A total of 800 sets ere sold and then were discontinued.
