GENERAL INFORMATION. The Boy Scouts of America, headquartered in East Brunswick, New Jersey at the time, asked Baston to design a "patriotic" Boy Scout figurine for sale in their stores and catalogs. If the Boy Scout kneeling with a United States Great Shield in front of the Statue of Liberty is not enough, he titled the plaque "Strengthen the Arm of Liberty."
