GENERAL INFORMATION. The Henrys are characteristic of Baston's Early Couples, but Patrick Henry (1736-1799) posed next to a free-standing podium. The pair was issued on the 150th anniversary of his death. As a member of the Virginia House of Burgesses, he offered a series of resolutions against the Stamp Act. He later served in the Continental Congress and as governor of Virginia. His most famous speech:
