GENERAL INFORMATION. Baston designed Andrew Jackson as part of his proposed Guggenheim Fellowship series. The seventh president of the United States is shown in the uniform he wore when commanding at the battle of New Orleans. Lance discontinued production of the design in 1976 and then reissued it once again in 1979.
