GENERAL INFORMATION. Cranberries are one of Massachusetts' primary farm products. Baston designed a Cape Cod farm worker picking berries by the now obsolete hand scoop method.
For a few years, Baston changed the mold inscription to read "BLUEBERRY PICKER" and painted the berry tray blue. No more than 200 were produced. From Dr. Glenn Johnson's book, The Sebastian Miniature Collection.
