GENERAL INFORMATION. The Irwin Neisler Drug Company commissioned Baston to produce a miniature derived from the painting by Sir Luke Fildes.  10,000 were used by Neisler salesmen as a handout to doctors and pharmacists, along with an additional 2,000 in pen stand form.  In 1960 Baston converted the Neisler commercial wording to "The Doctor" and supplied it in his retail line in figurine and pens stand form.
