GENERAL INFORMATION. In his seventh and final 1956 Johnson & Johnson design, Baston modified Durer's "Praying Hands" (SML-264) into a pair of hands crippled with arthritis. The piece was used in a promotion for a Johnson & Johnson drug that eased the pain of arthritis.
