GENERAL INFORMATION.  1958 marked the 140th anniversary of the founding of the Salem Savings Bank in nearby Salem, Massachusetts.  Baston produced 1,200 figurines depicting a relief model of the building's facade. he produced 100 pen stand versions for preferred customers.  The basic color of both versions was pink.  In the image above, the pen stand version without the pen base is illustrated.
