GENERAL INFORMATION. A marble sculpture stands as a memorial to seamen in Hampton Beach, New Hampshire. The State of New Hampshire Tourist Division ordered 1,000 marbleized miniature replicas of the original to promote tourist attention. The inscription on the base reads: "Breathe Soft, Ye Winds, Ye Waves, In Silence Rest".
