GENERAL INFORMATION. The Nashville National Bank in Tennessee had seen some of Baston's miniatures. In 1966 they asked him to design a caricature of George Washington, their logotype. Baston designed "Little George," a style he would later modify for "George and the Hatchet" (SML-367) in his retail line.
