GENERAL INFORMATION. Baston planned a new series called "America Remembers" where a Victorian family would participate in significant family activities of turn-of-the-century America. With Family Sing, Baston portrayed the mother at the piano with the father, brother and sister grouped around it in song.
The miniature was introduced at the South Bend Collectors Show in July, 1978 and attracted little interest. In January, 19798 it was announced that the miniature would be discontinued forever on December 31, and brisk sales followed. From Dr. Glenn Johnson's book, The Sebastian Miniature Collection.
