GENERAL INFORMATION. The second in the "America Remembers" series (see SML-371), Baston portrayed the Victorian family picnicking on a lazy Sunday afternoon.
This miniature was so popular that a large backlog of orders developed. It was decided that all orders would be cut off on December 31, but all back orders would be produced. Production on the complex piece continued until May of 1981.From Dr. Glenn Johnson's book, The Sebastian Miniature Collection.
