GENERAL INFORMATION. A gift shop in Mystic, Connecticut had this Sebastian made to celebrate the tenth anniversary of the village at Mystic. Woody Baston later modified this piece, converting it into the Country Church (SML-425) in the Spirit of New England Series.
Mystic Seaport occupies the site of three of the five shipyards that once lined the Mystic River and collectively launched 600 vessels between 1784 and 1919, a record unmatched by any other comparably-sized community in the United States.
