GENERAL INFORMATION. This may be a one-of-a-kind miniature. It was discovered in the early 1980s. Babe Ruth (1895-1948) is probably the most famous baseball player in sports history. He spent most of his professional career with the New York Yankees and Yankee Stadium is often referred to as "the house that Ruth built." He held the record for the most home runs in a season (60) until Roger Maris broke it with 61 home runs in 1961.
