GENERAL INFORMATION. This figurine represents the patron saint of the Roman Catholic Church in Gloucester, Massachusetts. It was commissioned by the Harbor Loop Gift Shop in Gloucester. Prescott W. Baston introduced the first Lady of Good Hope in 1952 (SML-211). SML-455 is NOT a modification of the original version but rather an entirely new piece created by his son, "Woody" Baston. A limited edition version was created with an enlarged base.
