GENERAL INFORMATION. It was the last of four similar pieces although unlike the others in the series, it had not been preceded by a corresponding pewter figurine. Alexander Hamilton (1755-1804) was the first Secretary of the Treasury under George Washington. He was killed in a duel with Aaron Burr who was then Vice President during the Presidency of Thomas Jefferson.
