GENERAL INFORMATION. This lighthouse is located in Woods Hole, Massachusetts, a community on Cape Cod and home of the famous Woods Hole Oceanographic Institute. David Lovering, who was Grand Master of the Massachusetts Grand Lodge of Masons, was from Falmouth, MA (Woods Hole is a community within the township of Falmouth.) The waterways in the area offer a very difficult passage.
