GENERAL INFORMATION. This design was made for the Methuen (MA) Lodge of Masons.  It is a copy of a statue originally from Italy that was displayed at the Chicago World's Fair in 1893.  This statue was brought to Methuen in 1900. In 19959 it was sold to the Forest Lawn Cemetery in California.  This is a very detailed piece in full, brilliant colors on a presentation base.  The entire issue was sold out on the evening that it was first offered.  The more common buff-colored version is not on a presentation base.
