GENERAL INFORMATION. A depiction of an American bison (more commonly referred to as a buffalo) standing in grass.  This item was originally requested by Jim Waite of the Blossom Shop, Farmer City, IL for his 2001 Midwest Fair.  There are three versions, the first being a natural color, the second in white - a seldom-seen variety of bison that was very special to Native Americans who alleged that it had mystic powers, and finally the third in copper color.  The copper version was mounted on a customized marble base by Mr. Waite; it is not an 'official' Wayland Studios mounting.  To purchase the copper version, one was required to buy the other two versions at the same time.
