GENERAL INFORMATION. This is a companion piece to John Alden, the Cooper issued in 2001.  It depicts Priscilla Alden with a butter churn used in Colonial times for making butter from cream.  While we have no idea what Priscilla Alden actually looked like, the butter churn is patterned after on located in the historic Alden House Museum in Duxbury, Massachusetts.  Refer to the museum's web site at www.alden.org for further information about John and Priscilla and the Museum.
